NEW YORK'S REGION B 2010, GWRRA DASH FOR CASH PROGRAM
Below is the calculation information to score points toward each chapter's Dash for Cash program. The following indicates how many points a chapter can accumulate for each activity:
Attending another Chapter's Meeting or Gathering 1
Attending another Chapter's Activity or Event 2
Providing Chapter COY Program Participants 2
NY/NJ District Rally 3
Chapter hosts a District Event (must be advertised first) 2
Attend another Region B Rally 2
Attend Any Region Rally 1
Attend Wing Ding Rally 3
Ride for Kids Participants 2
Ride for Kids GWRRA Top Five Fund Raiser 1
Fide for Kids GWRRA Top Fund Raiser 1
RULES: For CHAPTERS to qualify for these points, a minimum of six (6) card-carrying Chapter Members must attend to qualify for points. A Chapter must visit at least one chapter and attend one chapter event to qualify for the program (strongly urged to attend Bi-State Rally). Each Chapter can only earn a maximum of five (5) points from any one chapter (1 meeting + 2 activities or events = 5 points).
Ride for Kids Qualification: Must be attended by 6 card-carrying GWRRA members; Any chapter who attends a Ride for Kids celebration of life event with 6 members in attendance will receive 1 point; Chapters must register GWRRA NY as club affiliation; If GWRRA is one of the top 5 donations for the event, each chapter in attendance will receive 1 point; If GWRRA NY is the top donation for the entire event, each chapter in attendance will receive 1 point; Maximum points for Ride for Kids participation is 3 points per chapter.
The Rewards: All chapters achieving a total of 20 points between January 1, 2010 and November 15, 2010, will get their chapter fee paid for the 2011 year by the New York District treasury. The chapter with the most points accumulated during the same period will receive a check for $100 from the District.
Legal Stuff: All points need to be verified with Assistant District Director Rocco Cole, with a picture and particulars of the date, time, members in attendance, and a GWRRA officer verifying attendance. Any and all disputes, ties or discrepancies will be decided by the NY District Director and Assistant Director. The New York District Director reserves the sole right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the program for any reason at any time, during the length of the program.
Definitions:
Chapter Meeting/Gathering is defined as a regularly scheduled monthly meeting as PUBLISHED in the chapter newsletter or website.
Chapter event is defined as a special get-together open to all chapters and PUBLISHED in advance in the chapter newsletter and website.
Couple of the Year (COY) participant is defined as having a Chapter COY on record with the district and available to compete at the District Rally.
Other Region B Rally as listed and published in the Region newsletter and/or website as of May 1, 2010.
