Our 2010 Bi-State Rally, New York & New Jersey, Perfect Together, will take place on August 5-7 at the 120 room Hilton Garden Inn, Bridgewater NJ with the banquet and other activities hosted by the 550 guest capacity of the Manville, NJ VFW Banquet Facility. The hotel room rate of $75 for double occupancy includes 2 full daily breakfasts or $85 for quad occupancy with 4 full daily breakfasts makes this an exceptional value. NJ District Picnic Aboard the Battleship NJ Update
On top of the good food, tours, and photo opportunities for our motorcycles that will be available at our first District Picnic aboard the Battleship NJ at 10:00 AM on Sunday August 30, we will also have more volunteers stepping forward to make this an even bigger event.
First, there will be an opening ceremony with a bit of history about the most decorated ship in United States Naval History.
Second, the Marine Corps Color Guard will be present during a Double Wreath Toss Ceremony aboard the Battleship NJ to honor our fallen Veterans and our fallen GWRRA Members. For this occasion we encourage all our Veterans to bring along their uniforms. There will be a room provided to change from your riding gear before the ceremony. This is truly an honor and we are humbled to be part of it.
Third, we will also have a volunteer DJ with music & Karaoke to entertain our members throughout the event.
